The challenge

Four months after launch, the CRM built for Japan had 1 customer. One round of ads, run by someone else, had brought 0 users. The Japanese on the website read unnaturally, so visitors left soon and leads were lost. A referral from an AI assistant was the only channel that had ever produced a paying customer.

02

What we were responsible for

Japanese website revisions and optimization, site tracking, Google Search and Meta ads, social media, LinkedIn outreach and PR TIMES releases. We led the work as the company’s Japan marketing lead.

03

What we did

✓Found early that the website structure and the unnatural Japanese were why the first round of ads brought 0 users.
✓Revised the Japanese website and set up tracking.
✓Ran Google Search and Meta ads.
✓Ran social media, LinkedIn outreach and PR TIMES releases.
04

Results

Since we joined, the company has been winning about 10 paying customers a month on average, steadily. We did not judge the market by the ads alone. The Japanese website, tracking, awareness and sales touchpoints were fixed at the same time.
